CREATIVE PARTNERSHIPS
for media, education, culture and purpose-driven brands
As a creative partner, I help publishers, studios, agencies, organisations and businesses develop meaningful projects for children and young audiences. Every collaboration begins with curiosity. By putting children's perspectives at the heart of the creative process, I support projects from strategy and concept development to editorial direction—creating work that is engaging, relevant and built to last.
From Design Thinking to Child Thinking. A child-centered approach to creating media and products. Rooted in children's curiosity and shaped by their perspective, we collaborate to develop projects that educate, inspire, and create lasting value for organizations in business, culture, and society.
For Anyone with an Idea
Whether you're tackling complex topics, launching a new initiative or developing your passion project, I help shape ideas into experiences that resonate with young audiences. From strategy and concept development to creative direction, I bring an outside perspective, keep creative processes moving and connect projects with publishers, studios, agencies and creatives when needed.

For Publishers
From concept development, writing and editorial support to managing production through to print, I help turn ideas into quality children's books. Whether it's a board book, picture book or an interactive format, my concepts balance child development, market needs, production realities and creative ambition.

For Media Producers
From original formats and serial storytelling to pitches and concept refinement, I help develop ideas with long-term potential. Drawing on experience across publishing and television, I support projects from the first spark of an idea to the finished production.
WORKSHOPS & LEARNING
Child Thinking begins with a shift in perspective. Together, we explore fresh ways of looking at products, content and creative challenges. Every workshop is tailored to the needs of your organisation, combining practical tools with children's perspectives to inspire better ideas and clearer decisions.

PLAY IS SERIOUS THINKING

Who am I, anyway?
As an experienced producer, editor and children's media specialist I work with clarity, curiosity, and purpose. I lead and support creative projects across concept development, editorial direction, copy editing, and as a strategic project partner—with a direct, collaborative approach.
Along the way, I've come to believe ...
... every question deserves to be asked.
... play with purpose—and purpose in play.
... taking children seriously.
... children who grasp more than adults imagine.
... language that shapes the world.
... laughter that brings people together.
With Child Thinking , I create stories, media and experiences that take children's ideas, perspectives and knowledge seriously—without simplifying them.
My Story
How It All Began
It all started with curiosity. It always has. Mix that with an analytical mind, a creative streak, and a fascination for words, images, and design—and somewhere along the way, I became an editor.
Well… not immediately. As a child, I was convinced I'd become an artist, always with charcoal or a pencil in hand. The only other career I seriously considered? Stuntwoman. Preferably jumping off burning cranes. These days, my occasional longing for adrenaline is mostly satisfied by climbing the occasional via ferrata, but my curiosity—and my love for creating things—has stayed exactly the same.
After internships with photographers, magazines, art exhibitions, and environmental education projects, I completed my bachelor's degree while training as a TV editor. That's when it clicked. Researching ideas, shaping stories, developing products, and watching people engage with them—that was exactly what I wanted to do. Preferably with a sense of joy and discovery.
Then curiosity struck again. If I'd been content with what I already knew, I'd probably still be working in television today. But the big wide world kept calling. The five-year-old who used to sit on the windowsill with a world map, dreaming about Indonesia, New Zealand, Micronesia, and places too numerous to count, finally wanted to see them in real life. So I travelled.
After several years abroad and countless journeys (that five-year-old is still amazed), I completed a master's degree in Children's and Young Adult Media, worked in educational programmes with children, and eventually joined a publishing house as an editor and project manager for board books. That was where everything came together. I discovered how broad and playful media for young children can be—from tactile elements and rattles to lift-the-flaps and sound modules. It was a place where curiosity met creativity, where ideas found structure, and where thoughtful design always started with the child.
That's still at the heart of what I do today. With experience across publishing, media, education, and product development, a broad professional network, and the same curiosity that started it all, I collaborate with publishers, companies, cultural institutions, non-profit organisations, and creative teams to develop ideas, media, and products that are thoughtful, playful, and genuinely meaningful.
